Research Statement

Dr. Jincheng Shen is interested in statistical methodology development and its application for various health related questions, especially implementation of causal inference tools in cancer studies and statistical genetics and genomics research. His primary methodology research interests include: i) comparative effectiveness analysis in clinical trials and observational study with longitudinal data; ii) Heterogeneous treatment effect estimation and individual treatment rules identification in complex disease setting; iii) statistical analysis of high throughput genetics and epigenetics studies, including genome-wide association studies and mediation analysis. He is actively engaged in a wide spectrum of collaborations with clinicians, biologists and epidemiologists.
