  • About Me

I grew up surrounded by the natural beauty of the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. From there, I followed the Lake Superior shoreline over to northern Minnesota for undergrad where I studied biochemistry and women, gender, and sexuality studies. After college, I attended Central Michigan University College of Medicine where I solidified my love for the exciting, dynamic environment that emergency medicine encompasses. The impact emergency physicians can have on peoples’ lives during such vulnerable times is a truly humbling experience. I’m so excited to learn and grow personally and professionally with the wonderful people of Utah!

    Why Utah?

During the virtual social event prior to interview day, I vividly remember the residents all battling over the laptop for screen time to share how passionate they are about their training program (while dressed in various space-themed costumes, of course). The residents were clearly happy and confident in their training to equip them to practice in any environment. The easy access to some Utah mountain pow was the cherry on top!
