I grew up in Reno, Nevada, where I developed a deep appreciation for the outdoors. I was drawn to medicine through a desire to serve my community and to combine my love for the outdoors with a career in healthcare. I'm especially passionate about practicing in resource-limited and remote environments, which led to my interest in wilderness medicine, EMS, and global health.

As expected, I love to be outside and enjoy all forms of skiing, as well as hiking, running, biking and swimming. I also love a great book, knitting and cooking a big meal for my friends and family.

Why Utah?
I chose Utah for the diverse training sites, large catchment area, and wilderness medicine opportunities. I had a wonderful experience meeting faculty members and residents during my interview process and felt right at home!
