I grew up in Columbus, Ohio with my parents and younger sister and brother and spent most of our time playing soccer around the country. As a kid my family loved to travel to places like Utah, Colorado, and Washington to both ski and hike which sparked a passion for the outdoors and all things to do with the mountains! I headed to OSU for college and earned a degree in Neuroscience and stuck around for medical school. Throughout this time, I continued to travel to the mountains with my family and boyfriend where my love for the west grew and grew! Adding a couple cats and a dog who love the outdoors as much as we do, I couldn’t be more thrilled to start residency in Utah and embark on a career path in the fast-paced and exciting field of Emergency Medicine!
I love to enjoy the outdoors as much as possible with my family, boyfriend, puppy, and two cats. Hiking, biking, golfing (albeit poorly) and skiing/snowshoeing in the winter. I love to travel anywhere and everywhere to experience new cultures (favorite trip was backpacking through SE Asia!). I have recently rediscovered my love for cooking (especially Thai food), love a good IPA, and am an orange theory fitness enthusiast!

Why Utah?
The place, the medicine, and above all, the people! On my interview day it was apparent that at the U I would have the opportunity to work side by side with inspiring, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic people every day! I just knew this was the place for me, and a team that I wanted to play a part in. I hope to eventually practice out west with an interest in wilderness medicine/sports medicine and the training here allows me to explore those niches. My family also lives close by in Park City so having them close as a support system is another plus.
