  • About Me

    I grew up in Minnesota in an active family spending most of my time playing soccer and ski racing until I moved across the river to UW Madison for college (and a better football team! Go Badgers!!) I moved back across the state to North Dakota for medical school where I had the opportunity to be close to my extended family and quickly realized the emergency department was my place in medicine.

    Wilderness medicine, Ultrasound, Medical Education.

    Interests & Hobbies

    I love running, hiking, camping and all forms of skiing (water, downhill and cross country), but on a slower morning I love walking around a farmers’ market with a fancy coffee and a friend, cooking a new recipe with my partner, Evan or adventuring with our cat, Winnie!

    Why Utah?

    For me it was the people! Even from a virtual interview the residents/faculty were so welcoming and wonderful. An additional bonus was the program itself and its connection to wilderness medicine. The access to the outdoors obviously doesn’t hurt either!! I am so excited to be a part of Utah’s EM residency!
