Katrina Stevens, MD (She/Her)

  • About Me

I grew up in Upstate NY. After undergrad, I moved west to Glenwood Springs, CO for an AmeriCorps Service Year. While volunteering for a health alliance, I realized I wanted to become a physician and I wanted to find my way west again. Emergency medicine stood out to me since the beginning due to its fast-paced environment, shift work, and awesome people within the specialty. I look forward to continuing my training at the University of Utah and getting outside!

    Medical Areas of Interest

    Rural Medicine, Wilderness Medicine, Ultrasound.

    Interests & Hobbies

Knitting, Snowboarding, Whitewater Rafting, Backpacking, Reading, and finding the softest grass to nap on.

    Why Utah?

I completed a toxicology rotation at the U last fall. The camaraderie among the residents and attendings made each interaction engaging and fun. Driven by its resident-centric ethos, this institution highlighted a collaborative spirit and supportive atmosphere that I sought out for residency.
