  • About Me

    I was born and raised in the suburbs of Chicago, and I attended undergrad at the University of Michigan (Go Blue!) where I received a degree in Neuroscience. After graduation, I had an incredible opportunity to move out west and teach adaptive skiing for people with disabilities in Breckenridge, Colorado. I spent three amazing years in the mountains, and after falling in love with the west, I moved to the desert where I attended medical school in Southern Utah. Emergency Medicine was an easy choice for me as it compliments my personality, career goals, and hobbies perfectly. Staying in the beautiful state of Utah for residency is a dream come true, and I am stoked to return to the mountains once again.

    Interests & Hobbies

    I love to mountain bike, alpine and backcountry ski, camp, hike, trail run…pretty much anything outside. When not at the hospital, you will usually find me on an adventure with my boyfriend, Nick, and our dog, Charlie, a border collie/lab rescue. I enjoy growing vegetables in my garden, cooking new recipes, and most importantly, a good cup of coffee.

    Why Utah?

    I was lucky enough to rotate at the U as a fourth-year med student and was truly blown away by both the training and the incredible community. Every resident and attending I had the pleasure of working with was genuinely happy, eager to teach, and passionate about EM. I had so much fun my whole month there, both in and out of the hospital, that I knew it was where I wanted to end up. Being close to some pretty amazing mountains is the icing on the cake, and I could not be happier to join the Utah EM family!
