  • About Me

I was lucky enough to grow up in Salt Lake City and spent my childhood hiking, skiing, playing tennis, and exploring all that Utah has to offer. I attended the University of Notre Dame (Go Irish!) for undergrad where I dabbled in collegiate boxing and my biggest success was winning the award for bloodiest nose. I was thrilled to stay in my home state for medical school at the University of Utah. Emergency Medicine quickly drew me in - I love the fast paced environment, teamwork driven care, and the diverse patient population. During medical school I gave up boxing but picked up running, video games, weightlifting, and reKINDLEd my love of reading. I am thrilled to be joining the EM team at Utah and cannot wait to learn from the incredible faculty here!!

    Interests & Hobbies

My partner Nick and I spend most of our free time and money on Apollo, our husky! Ask me about fantasy books, The Witcher, or if I have finally benched over 60 kilos.

    Why Utah?

After completing my sub-I at Utah I knew it was where I wanted to train for residency. My shifts were always a great combination of fun and learning and I really connected with faculty and the residents. Additionally, Utah is a delightful place to live and work and I was not ready to move away after medical school. Utah’s EM program is one of the best in the nation and it is an honor to train here!
