I affectionately think of myself as a Carolinas kid, and I spent most of my time living between the piedmont, mountains, and the coast of North Carolina. After graduating from UNC Chapel Hill (go heels!) I moved out to Colorado and worked for a startup health technology company for a few years. Medical innovation and technology remains one of my passions. Medical school took me back to South Carolina, where I found emergency medicine late in the game. I immediately fell in love with the specialty and never looked back!

Interests & Hobbies
I am a serial hobbyist and love to try new things - I'm currently learning book binding! In true EM fashion, I will gladly do most things to get outside on a beautiful day! Some of my favorite activities include yoga, hiking, snowboarding, and camping. I am also an avid cook and baker, voracious reader, and craft goblin.
The light of my life is my 15yr old curmudgeon of a dog, Daisy
Why Utah?
It's tough to beat top notch exposure in community and academic settings, a plethora of unique training opportunities, and an incredible location. As cliche as it sounds, I felt right at home with the people and the culture of this program and knew I would have fun while being challenged as a resident.
