My family home is in Massachusetts, where my partner and I attended Umass Amherst for undergrad. During my gap year, I worked as a dental assistant. Afterward, I headed down to North Carolina for medical school at Duke. I loved almost all my rotations and was torn between several specialties, so I pursued a Pathology Post-Sophomore Fellowship. As great as it was, I missed direct patient care and found my home in Emergency Medicine. I can’t wait to explore the niches available during residency!

Interests & Hobbies
When I act as an indoor cat, I enjoy reading (mainly fantasy), crafting, and tending my plants. Outside the house, I like playing rugby, hiking, going to the beach, and kayaking. I’m looking forward to connecting with Salt Lake City, from the public library classes to the rugby scene, and hitting a few national parks along the way.
Why Utah?
As someone considering pediatric emergency medicine, attending a residency with excellent pediatric exposure was a priority. Therefore, the longitudinal and dedicated PEM blocks were a huge draw. I also resonated with the message of compassionate care that connected my interviews.
