  • About Me

I grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area and have moved progressively more East as my education continued, ending up in snowy Syracuse, NY. Along the way, I met my partner and we picked up a dog and a snake to add to the mix. I always knew medicine was the path for me and combined with my love for the outdoors, I found my way to the perfect fit for me, EM!

    Medical Areas of Interest

    Wilderness medicine, global health, EMS.

    Interests & Hobbies

I am (fortunately or unfortunately, you decide) a walking emergency medicine stereotype. When the weather is nice, you’re likely to find us climbing, exploring local trails with our dog, Olive, or simply enjoying the outdoors. I also love to travel both internationally and domestically, often times finding climbing along the way. My favorite relaxing activity is taking over the entire dining room table with several thousand piece puzzles! And I can’t leave out the fact that I love cooking, it’s one of my favorite ways to unwind after a long day :)

    Why Utah?

I knew I wanted to move back toward the West coast and after interviewing and visiting Utah, I knew I found my place. The people are incredible, very laid back and welcoming! The program itself offers everything that I was looking for in a residency program, strong wilderness/rural training, proximity to the outdoors, a close-knit, supportive program, and many unique opportunities to explore my interests more thoroughly.
