  • About Me

Born in Japan, we left when I was a wee baby to move back to Ohio. Since then, I’ve been a tried and true Buckeye where I earned my bachelors, MPH, and MD from Ohio State including a few years of working on research in their cancer center. During my medical years, I quickly learned that my passion for patient care and the fast paced medicine led me to my interest in Emergency Medicine where I want to help reach those who don’t always have access to medical care. Combined with that and my pursuit to leave the Midwest - I could not be more excited to start my residency in Emergency Medicine at U of Utah.

    Medical Areas of Interest

    Rural medicine, street medicine.

    Interests & Hobbies

Hiking, traveling, baking all of the things, concerts, camping, and spending time with friends with board games. And my dog Samson!

    Why Utah?

I was blown away on my interview day and felt like I was already at home, even virtually. Utah seems like the perfect program to prepare me for a career in rural medicine while being surrounded by incredibly supportive faculty, staff, and co-residents!
