I grew up in a small town nestled in the northern mountains of New Mexico. From there I migrated to New England to study the philosophy of addiction and free will. On the comically small slopes of the Dartmount skiway, I fell in love with the intersection of medicine and mountains. Before starting med school, I had the opportunity to through-hike in Spain and the Sierras and picked up a bit of medical Spanish when living in Mexico.

Interests & Hobbies
Just about anything that gets me outside and playing in the mountains. I love to ski, mountain bike, climb, raft. I'm also a voracious reader, amateur knitter, and aspiring great British baking show contestant.
Why Utah?
Before med school, I spent an amazing winter in Utah working at the Alta Medical Clinic, exploring the Wasatch, and met my partner. Though I dragged him across the country, we always knew this was a community we wanted to return to. I was lucky to be able to rotate here and my experience could not have been more affirming. I beyond stoked to be joining this team!
