Nate Dreyfus grew up in Saint Louis, MO and blames his boring, friendly earnestness on his midwestern upbringing. He found his way into medicine by an indirect route that included a couple of years working in conservation fieldwork, as an EMT and Clinical Research Coordinator before starting medical school. He has spent time living in Chile, Alaska, Colorado, Vermont and now California where he is completing residency at UCSF Fresno. He is enthusiastically mediocre at running, skiing, mountain biking, cooking, traveling, music and many other activities.
Utah's EMS Fellowship curriculum is a great match for my interests and career goals, and I appreciate the excellent people and culture within the fellowship and EM department in general. The amazing setting for outdoor pursuits is an exciting bonus.
