Check in via electronic call-in system (used for most on-going series)

You may use your cell phone, smart phone, laptop computer, tablet or desktop computer to sign-in for regularly scheduled series. The best and fastest is through your smart phone. After you have installed the proper app for your Android or iPhone, it will take only a couple of seconds to check-in, and it all can be done from your seat. You have until midnight to sign-in using that session’s unique event code, but after that you will need to contact the CME office.

For specific instructions, use the Ways to Claim Credit instructions (page 3 of the Series Learner Info packet).

Event call-in number: (801) 478-5852

Below are some Frequently Asked Questions that might be helpful for you regarding claiming credit for series.

Write down the session ID and when you get home or to your office computer, sign in… but it has to be before midnight.

No, not unless you want them to get your credit.

No. Only your own cell phone will work. The system uses your cell phone number as a unique identifier to match the claim of credit with your specific individual profile in our credit tracking system.

You may contact UUCME and request we manually add the credit.  Please note that this may take significant time of the CME office and we can only manually add six months of missed call-ins per person, one time only.  Using the call-in system helps keep CME costs down and is the best method to ensure your credits are accurately recorded.

Install the iPhone or Android app (it’s faster and easier) or use the Internet check-in site

If you use the app, it won’t matter. But if you’re dialing in with a blocked caller-ID, your sign-in won’t work. You must first unblock your caller-ID for this call only with a *82 immediately prior to the rest of the number.

The system processes credits overnight, after midnight.  So, in most cases, credits will appear on the CME Transcript the following day.

If you already have installed a QR code reader, point the camera at the Android code and follow the on-screen instructions. You can download a free reader from the Google Play Store. If you do not have a QR code reader installed, visit Google Play.

Your password is the same Google password as you use for Gmail.

If you already have installed a QR code reader, point the camera at the iPhone code and follow the onscreen instructions. You can download a free reader from the iTunes Store. If you don’t have a QR code reader installed, visit the Event Call-in web app.

Select the button just below the blue arrow, then touch “Add to Home Screen.”

We are investigating this issue to see if we can provide a solution.  In the meantime, try deleting and re-installing the app.  You may also try a different method for claiming your credits, using the Internet check-in site or making a phone call to (801) 478-5852 to claim your credit through the call-in feature.
