ER Research Associate Application for 2019 As a research associate in our program, you will be required to attend one, four hour shift per week, all mandatory meetings and trainings and complete all assignments. Please refer to the course syllabus for a complete description. As a research associate, you will have the opportunity to work with staff in the ER, and interact with numerous patients as well as learn how to do data entry and read patient’s charts with the possibility of advancing into a leadership position.
