Welcome to the Division of Medical Education
The Division of Medical Education is a stand-alone division within the Spencer Fox Eccles School of Medicine at the University of Utah (SFESOM). Established in Spring 2024 of Medical Education serves faculty who significantly impact education within the Spencer Fox Eccles School of Medicine.
By aligning with the values and principles of the MD Program and focusing on shared goals with local and regional partners, we aim to promote the exceptional education experience for both trainees and faculty within the SFESOM community and across the Intermountain West.
Our Goals:
Provide an academic home for community faculty educators.
Foster meaningful engagement opportunities in medical education.
Promote excellence, innovation, and flexibility to enhance faculty experiences.
Support professional development for faculty educators.
