1.3 LIC Specific Resources

Evaluation forms & examples: You will be asked to complete multiple feedback forms throughout the year. Here is a list with an example of those forms:

  • Direct Observations of Clinical Skills (Mini-DOCS): You will be asked to complete multiple mini-docs throughout the course of the academic year. These are meant to evaluates student's performance in five key areas: patient interviewing, physical examination, documentation, patient presentation, and patient communication. It is an opportunity to offer recommendations and areas of improvement for the student’s ongoing skill development in these areas. You can find what these mini-docs look like here.
  • End of year evaluation: You will be asked to complete one final end of year evaluation for the student summarizing their growth throughout the year. You can be find what the evaluation looks like here along with examples of how to complete it. Please be as descriptive as possible in your responses.
